In compliance with the directives of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Bihar, and Patna University, daily attendance of all teaching faculty and non-teaching staff at Bihar National College is monitored via Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).

Key Attendance Rules for Employees
- Dual Punching Mandatory: All employees must register both IN-punch (morning) and OUT-punch (evening) at designated biometric terminals.
- Grace Period: Maximum 15 minutes grace period allowed for morning punch (till 10:15 AM).
- Official Leave Integration: Approved duty leaves (CL, EL, OD) must be pre-sanctioned on the portal to avoid automatic salary deduction.
- Monthly Audit Reports: Monthly attendance summaries are submitted directly to the Registrar, Patna University.
