Department of Physics
The present building of Physics department was built during the Principalship of Dr. S. K. Bose. Dr. Baidyanath Prasad was the head of Physics department during 1975-1980 session. After him so many persons like Dr. A. K. Rakshit, Dr. B. K. Guha, Dr. S. M. Karim, Dr. Vishwanath Prasad, Dr. Dileep Gupta, Dr. Bakshi Vidyanand Sinha, Dr. Deo Mukherjee, Dr. Kashi Nath, Dr. Jai Prakash Saha became head of Physics department. At persent, Dr. Dinesh Kumar is the H. O. D. of the department.
